During the cooking process, the insects are sterilized and their softened exoskeletons provide better digestion for your animals consuming it! Our Canned Grasshoppers are high in protein and low in fat which are great for any growing or adult animals as well as moulting birds! Grasshoppers contain the antioxidant astaxanthin similar to shrimps which is why they turn red after cooking!
