Psittacus Microsphere 20/10 is a micro extruded formula that is suitable for small parrots. It can be supplied throughout the year, but especially during breeding season, when it should be used as a moist base for the Eggfood.

Feeding Guidelines:
Daily consumption of the dry formula can range between 10% and 18% of the animal’s body weight depending on the species and the ambient temperature. Since it has been formulated as a complete food, there are no consumption restrictions and can be offered ad libitum. Ambient temperature influences intake significantly

Direction For Use:
1. Microspheres can be offered both dry and wet. They have been
developed to provide rapid hydration while maintaining their
spherical shape intact.
2. As moist food, they are excellent to stimulate the feeding of the chicks and can be offered as they are or mixed with other foods, such as our Eggfood and even chopped vegetables.
3. The proportion of water to be added to the Microspheres is determined by the moisture level of the other components that will be added later to the hydrated Microspheres. The objective is to constitute a mixture of moist, loose and non-sticky texture. This is the texture that birds like the most.
